Dentistry encompasses much more than just one’s teeth. What is truly fascinating to me is the intimate link between an individual’s oral health care and his/her overall health. As a clinician, I am passionate about my patients and strive to partner with them to help them achieve their oral health goals.
At each visit, I hope to make each patient feel comfortable and welcome in the dental chair and believe that by utilizing cutting-edge technology and education, patients are able to make informed decisions about their care. My main goal is to provide compassionate, quality care to each patient to help them restore their smile to optimum function and esthetics. I find it truly rewarding to watch how dentistry can transform someone’s life and give them confidence to share their smile with the world!
It is safe to say that I bleed Purple and Gold! I received a double degree at the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with Honors and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following undergrad, I attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where I graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After dental school, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through the Northwest Dental Residency Program. I am passionate about continuing education and am constantly seeking and attending courses that will enhance my dental skills and knowledge to allow me to better serve my patients and their needs.
In addition to continuing education, I am involved in organized dentistry and enjoy giving back to the profession by serving on committees for SKCDS and WSDA.
While I was born in Boston, MA, I grew up in the Issaquah area and currently live in Seattle with my wife, Rikki, who is a Certified Public Accountant. We attend Bethany Community Church and, in our spare time, we enjoy taking walks around Greenlake, watching movies, and traveling to new and exciting places. I am a Cancer survivor, proficient in Spanish and am an avid Seattle sports fan that enjoys playing basketball, softball, golf, and running.
